my own benchmark: ez-pt design
I maintain ez-pt, an open-source rehab app. Physical therapy apps look clinical and boring. Wanted to copy the Apple Fitness vibe instead.
Gave both Opus 4.5 and Gemini the same prompt: redesign this to match Apple Fitness. Make it sleek.

The timer shows it best. Opus added a glow around the circle—the kind of thing Apple does. Gemini's works but it's just a timer.
